CHAPTER 5

EXAMINATION, LICENSURE AND REGISTRATION

Section 1. Type of Examination. The written examination of applicants for licensure as physical therapists and registration as physical therapist assistants shall be the respective national exami- nation recommended by the Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy.

Section 2. Passing Point of Computer Based Examination. The Board will adopt the criterion-referenced passing point recommended by the Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy. The passing point shall be set to equal a scaled score of 600 based on a scale ranging from 200 to 800.
