Section 1. Type of Examination. The written examination of applicants for licensure as physical therapists and registration as physical therapy assistants shall be the Professional Examination Service exam for physical therapists and physical therapy assistants respectively.
Section 2. Passing Point of Written Examination. The passing point of the written examination for both the physical therapist and physical therapy assistant shall be 1.5 S.D. below the national mean for each sub test and for the total score.
Section 3. Letters of Recommendation. In accordance with W.S. 1977 33-25-105 evidence shall be presented of the good moral and ethical character of the applicant in the form of a written recommendation of two persons who have known the applicant for a period of two years, and who are not related to him/her, and who have been acquainted with the professional ability and conduct of the applicant.
Section 4. Physical Therapy Assistant Registration Without Examination. Any Physical Therapy Assistant who has practiced as a Physical Therapy Assistant in Wyoming for a period of one year immediately prior to the effective date of W.S. 1977 33-25-101 et seq. and who makes application within six months therefrom shall be eligible for registration without examination.
