The Board shall license only those applicants who are graduates of schools of physical therapy approved by the American Physical Therapy Association. A bachelor's degree or the comparable certification at a minimum in Physical Therapy is required.
Section 2. Physical Therapist Assistant Courses Approved by the Board. The Board shall register only those applicants who are graduates of schools of physical therapist assistants approved by the American Physical Therapy Association. An associate's degree in Physical Therapist Assistant at a minimum is required.
Section 3. Foreign Trained Physical Therapists. Foreign trained physical therapists shall be graduates of physical therapy institutions of learning which are approved by the accrediting agency in the country in which they received their training and subject to the approval by the Board upon review of the applicant's credentials. An equivalent to a bachelor's degree at a minimum in Physical Therapy is required.
