Section 1. Time and Place of Meetings. The Wyoming State Board of Physical Therapy shall meet at least twice annually and at such other times as the Board deems necessary for the transaction of business. The location of the meeting shall be determined by the Board as appropriate to conducting Board business.
(a) In accordance with W.S. 16-4-401 through 16-4-407, all meetings of the Board of Physical Therapy shall be open to interested members of the public; with such exceptions as are specifically provided for by law.
(b) Public notice shall be given of the time and place of the Board meetings. Such notice shall be given sufficiently in advance of the meeting so interested parties may plan to attend. This includes either extraordinary or special meeting of the Board. In the case of telephone meetings, written minutes of the meeting shall be made available to the interested public or media within a reasonable period of time.
Section 2. Maintenance of Records. Complete records of all the activities/decisions of the Board shall be kept.
(a) It shall be the duty of the secretary of the Board of Physical Therapy to keep complete records of all the Board meetings and/or transactions; including all contacts, phone calls, between Board members and all persons dealing with Board members.
(b) It shall be the responsibility of the other Board members to keep the secretary of the Board fully informed to all Board matters in which he/she is involved, or is conducting.
(c) In accordance with the Public records act, W.S. 16-4-401 et seq., and further delineated in Chapter VIII of these rules and regulations, Board records shall be open for inspections by any person(s) during normal business hours, excepting those records which are excluded from public inspection as specified by the act and such rules as are necessary for the preservation of the records.
Section 3. Board Decisions. No individual Board member shall make a decision concerning Board matters without first consulting/polling the other Board members. The vote of the majority shall decide all Board matters.
Section 4. Annual Listing of Board Members. The names of the Board of Physical Therapy shall be included in the annual listing of licensed physical therapists and registered physical therapy assistants. This listing shall include the address, the position on the Board, and the term of office for each Board member.
