These rules implement the Texas Oral Health Improvement Act authorized by the Texas Health and Safety Code, Chapter 43. This Act authorizes the Texas Department of Health to furnish oral health services to eligible individuals. Oral health services may include oral health promotion and education and the delivery of oral treatment services to eligible low-income individuals.
