1 Tex. Admin. Code § 81.147 – County Election Officer to Conduct Joint Primary

(a) Pursuant to §172.126(a) of the Texas Election Code, the county election officer shall supervise the overall conduct of joint primary elections.
(b) The county election officer is responsible for:
1. (1) appointing election judges and clerks;
2. (2) determining the ballot format and type of voting system for each precinct; and
3. (3) procuring election equipment and supplies.
