1. (a) Pursuant to §172.126(a) of the Texas Election Code, the county clerk/elections administrator shall supervise the overall conduct of joint primary elections.

2. (b) The county clerk/elections administrator is responsible for:

   1. (1) appointing election judges and clerks;
   2. (2) determining the ballot format and type of voting system for each precinct; and
   3. (3) procuring election equipment and supplies.
