PURPOSE: This rule establishes and fixes various fees and charges authorized by section 324.522, RSMo.

1. (1) The operator of a tattoo, body piercing, or branding establishment shall pay fees to the office as follows:

   1. (A) Establishment application fee
   2. (B) Combined establishment application fee
   3. (C) Establishment renewal fee
   4. (D) Combined establishment renewal fee

2. (2) The operator of a temporary tattoo, body piercing, and/ or branding establishment shall pay a fee to the division as follows:

   1. (A) Temporary establishment (per event)
   2. (B) Combined temporary (per event)

3. (3) A person who wishes to practice as a tattooist, body piercer, or brander shall pay fees to the division as follows:

   1. (A) Practitioner application fee
   2. (B) Renewal fee for practitioner
   3. (C) Combined practitioner application fee
   4. (D) Renewal fee for combined practitioner

4. (4) Additional Fees:

   1. (A) Duplicate license fee
   2. (B) Bad check fee

5. (5) To ensure compliance with section 324.524, RSMo, the following renewal fees shall be effective March 1, 2023, through June 30, 2023:

   1. (A) Establishment renewal fee $10
   2. (B) Combined establishment renewal fee $10
   3. (C) Practitioner renewal fee $10
   4. (D) Combined practitioner renewal fee $10
