PURPOSE: This rule describes the requirements and fees for obtaining permits for contests.

1. (1) The promoter shall obtain a separate permit for each contest from the office prior to each contest. The request for the permit must be received by the office no later than ten

2. (10) business days before the date of a contest. The office will not approve permits for—

   1. (A) Bouts between members of the opposite sex for professional boxing, professional kickboxing, or professional full-contact karate; or
   2. (B) Bouts between human contestants and nonhumans.

3. (2) Fees for professional boxing, professional kickboxing, professional full-contact karate, professional mixed martial arts, and amateur mixed martial arts permits are twenty-five dollars ($25) per contest, per day. Professional and amateur combined events permit fee is twenty-five dollars ($25) per contest, 20 CSR 2040-2

   per day. Fees for wrestling permits are one hundred fifty dollars ($150) per contest, per

$400.00 day. $400.00

1. (3) The office may deny an application for

$ 40.00 $ 30.00 such a permit or grant a limited, restricted, $ 50.00 or conditional permit for any cause deemed sufficient by the office. $ 50.00 $200.00 $ 20.00 (4) No promoter, official, or contestant may serve in any capacity at contests for which the $ 20.00 office has denied a permit or for which a per- $ 0.00 mit has not been issued. Such participation may be grounds for discipline.

1. (5) The promoter must have an approved per-

$15.00 mit before any publicity is issued on the contest. Violation of this provision may be grounds for discipline.

1. (6) All permit fees are non-refundable.
