As used in this chapter, "water facilities" and "water supply" include the following:

1. (1) Source of supply.
2. (2) Treatment facilities.
3. (3) Purifying and storage facilities.
4. (4) Distribution systems.
5. (5) Appurtenant equipment.
6. (6) Materials and supplies.
7. (7) Land, easements, and rights-of-way.
8. (8) Buildings.

9. (9) All other facilities for the administration, operation, and maintenance of the items described in subdivisions (1) through (8).
