DEPARTMENT OF REGULATORY AGENCIES Board of Medical Examiners COLORADO STATE BOARD OF MEDICAL EXAMINERS RULES AND REGULATIONS REGARDING THE ACCEPTED MINIMUM SCORES ON THE FLEX EXAMINATIONS 3 CCR 713-10 [Editor’s Notes follow the text of the rules at the end of this CCR Document.] Basis: The basis for adoption of this rule is CRS 12-36-104(1)(a). Purpose: The purpose of the adoption of this rule is to clarify the requirements of C.R.S. 12-36-107(1)(a)

1. (b) and (c), and C.R.S. 12-36-113(2) as it relates to the required minimum scores on the FLEX examination.

The accepted minimum scores on the FLEX examination for licensure in Colorado shall be as shown below:

1. DATE OF EXAM ACCEPTED SCORES Before June 1985 75 weighted average;
   1. Passed in one sitting: no scrambling or replacement of scores.

   Between June 1985 and 75 each component;

   December 1993 Both components must be passed with 7 years.
