3 CCR 713-10
DEPARTMENT OF REGULATORY AGENCIES Colorado Medical Board RULE 110 – ACCEPTED MINIMUM SCORES ON THE FLEX EXAMINATIONS 3 CCR 713-10 [Editor’s Notes follow the text of the rules at the end of this CCR Document.] Basis: The basis for adoption of this rule is CRS 12-36-104(1)(a). Purpose: The Colorado Board of Medical Examiners (“Board” ) finds that immediate adoption of this rule is imperatively necessary to comply with state law, specifically House Bill 10-1260 signed by the Governor on June 10, 2010. The Board further finds that compliance with the requirements of §24-4-103, C.R.S., applicable to non-emergency rules, would be contrary to the public interest. Specifically, House Bill 10- 1260 repeals §12-36-113, C.R.S., governing examinations and, therefore, reference to that statutory provision is no longer proper.
The purpose of the adoption of this rule is to clarify the requirements of C.R.S. 12-36-107(1)(a)(b) and (c), and as it relates to the required minimum scores on the FLEX examination. DATE OF EXAM ACCEPTED SCORES Before June 1985 75 weighted average;
