FIRE REPORTING

Section 1. Fire Reports; Responsibility.

(a) The chief officer or designated representative of every fire protection jurisdiction in the state shall report all fires occurring that were reported or that required an emergency response. The report shall include all information required by the Department and the National Fire Incident Reporting System concerning the origin, facts and circumstances of the fire determined by investigation under W.S. 35-9-107 and W.S. 35-9-109. The report shall be submitted in a format approved by the Department. The report shall be furnished to the Department within one (1) week of the fire.
