CHAPTER 3

FEES

Section 1. Application Fees.

1. (a) Engineer application - $100
2. (b) Land Surveyor application - $100
3. (c) Engineer-in-Training and Land Surveyor-in-Training applications:
4. (i) $50
5. (ii) Fee waived for students currently enrolled at the University of Wyoming.
6. (d) Business Entity registration - $75
7. (e) Re-Registration Fee - $265
8. (f) The Board has determined that the costs of processing applications equal or exceed the application fees. Therefore, all application fees are non-refundable.

Section 2. Examination Fees.

1. (a) Fundamentals of Engineering - NCEES national exam fee
2. (b) Professional Engineer
3. (i) Principles and Practice - NCEES national exam fee + $25
4. (c) Fundamentals of Land Surveying - NCEES national exam fee
5. (d) Professional Land Surveyor
6. (i) Principles and Practice - NCEES national exam fee + $25
7. (ii) Wyoming Land Surveying Examination –$100
8. (iii) Wyoming Land Surveying Take-home Examination - $100
9. (e) Structural Engineer Exam - NCEES national exam fee + $25
10. (f) Reexamination fees are the same as examination fees.

Section 3. Renewal Fees.

1. (a) Individual biennial renewal fee - $115
2. (b) Business Entity biennial renewal fee - $115
3. (c) Inactive renewal fee - $100
4. (d) Retired renewal fee - $40

Section 4. Miscellaneous Fees. Payment of fees must be in United States dollars, and may be in cash, check, and money order or any payment mechanism approved by the board. If a check is returned for insufficient funds, repayment, including payment of a returned check charge, shall be in cash or by money order or certified check.

4. (iii) Address Labels - $100
5. (b) Board annual report - $5
6. (c) Copy fee per page - $ 0.25
7. (d) Replacement certificates - $10
8. (e) Rules and Regulations and Statutes pertaining to the Board - $20
9. (f) Returned check charge - $25

Section 5. Delinquency Penalty. The penalty for late payment of renewal fees is $15 per month, but the total renewal fee and penalties shall not exceed the amount of the application plus examination fees.

Section 6. Renewal Periods. The first renewal will be due by December 31 of the year of initial registration. Biennial renewal periods shall be valid until December 31 of the second year of registration.
