CHAPTER III
GENERAL PROVISIONS
Section 1. Application Fees.
- (a) Engineer application - $75
- (b) Land Surveyor application - $75
- (c) Engineer-in-Training and Land Surveyor-in-Training applications, other than the applications from students enrolled at the University of Wyoming - $30
- (d) The Board has determined that the costs of processing applications equal or exceed the application fees. Therefore, all application fees are non-refundable.
Section 2. Examination Fees.
- (a) Fundamentals of Engineering - (national) - $55
- (b) Professional Engineer
- (i) Principles and Practice - (national) - $120
- (c) Fundamentals of Land Surveying - (national) - $90
- (d) Professional Land Surveyor
- (i) Principles and Practice - (national) - $120
- (ii) Wyoming Land Surveying Examination $65 and Wyoming Land Surveying Take-Home Examination - $80
- (e) Structural Engineer I - (national) - $120
- (f) Structural Engineer II - (national) - $220
- (g) Reexamination fees are the same as examination fees.
Section 3. Renewal Fees.
- (a) Biennial renewal fee - $95
- (b) Inactive renewal fee - $95
- (c) Retired renewal fee - $40
Section 4. Miscellaneous Fees. Payment of fees must be in United States dollars, and may be in cash, check or money order. If a check is returned for insufficient funds, repayment, including payment of the returned check charge, shall be in cash or by money order or certified check.
- (a) Combined alphabetical/numerical roster of registrants - \$15
- (b) Board annual report (exclusive of roster) - \$5
- (c) Computer printout or diskette fee (noncommercial use) \$50 per computer run, address labels \$100
- (d) Copy fee per page (noncommercial use) - \$ .25
- (e) Corporation registration - \$75
- (f) Replacement certificates - \$10
- (g) Local review of examination results by applicant - \$10
- (h) Regrading of national examination (if authorized by the Board) will equal the cost to the Board
- (i) Rules and Regulations and Statutes pertaining to the Board - \$10
- (j) Returned check charge - \$15
- (k) Proctoring fee (in-state and out-of-state) - \$50
Section 5. Delinquency Penalty. The penalty for late payment of renewal fees is $15 per month, but the total renewal fee and penalties shall not exceed the amount of the application plus examination fees.
Section 6. Renewal Periods. The first renewal will be due by December 31 of the year of initial registration. Biennial renewal periods shall be valid until December 31 of the second year of registration.
