The department will monitor the operations of contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and universities with which it may have contracts or agreements to ensure that departmental policy with respect to employment practices of the contracting agencies are in compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act. It will also determine if the contracting agency has implemented an acceptable Equal Employment Opportunity Program.
