The purpose of this subchapter is to provide for a state acknowledgment program that allows the department to acknowledge donations for highway-related services, including mowing, litter and debris pick-up, travel services, roadside assistance and safety service patrols, and maintenance of safety rest areas, Travel Information Centers, and toll gantry facilities.
