1. (a) The commission may enter into a contract with:

   1. (1) a law enforcement academy training provider;
   2. (2) a law enforcement association, distance education, or proprietary training provider; or
   3. (3) an academic alternative training provider.
2. (b) To enter into a contract with the commission, a training provider must be approved after completing all requirements for application and eligibility.
3. (c) A training provider applicant must use the electronic application process and submit any required fee.
4. (d) The effective date of this section is February 1, 2014.
