The Texas Commission on Law Enforcement Officer Standards and Education adopts by reference a memorandum of understanding which establishes their responsibilities to institute a continuity of care program for offenders who are mentally impaired, elderly, physically disabled, terminally ill or significantly ill, as also adopted by the Texas Council on Offenders with Mental Impairments and the Texas Commission on Jail Standards. The Commission on Jail Standards adopted new §273.7 of this title (relating to Health Services) in the April 18, 1995, issue of the Texas Register (20 TexReg 2866). Copies of the memorandum of understanding may be obtained from the commission. The effective date of this section is October 30, 1995.
