Unless otherwise provided in this subchapter, contracts between HMOs or preferred provider carriers and preferred providers shall not include terms which:

1. (1) extend the statutory or regulatory time frames;
2. (2) waive the preferred provider's right to recover reasonable attorney's fees and court costs pursuant to Insurance Code Article 3.70-3C §3A(n) and §843.343.
