Unless otherwise provided in this subchapter, contracts between MCCs and preferred providers may not include terms that:

1. (1) extend the statutory or regulatory time frames; or
2. (2) waive the preferred provider's right to recover reasonable attorney's fees and court costs under Insurance Code §1301.108 and §843.343.
