Coordination with Children With Special Health Care Needs Services Program

- (a) All newborns and other individuals under the age of 21 years who have been screened and have been found to be presumptively positive through the program may be referred, if financially eligible, to the department's Children With Special Health Care Needs (CSHCN) Program.
- (b) An individual who is determined to be eligible for CSHCN services shall be given approved services through that program, including special dietary formula for individuals who have phenylketonuria and homosystinuria. An individual who does not meet CSHCN eligibility criteria shall be referred to the program for a determination of eligibility for program services.
