If a person violates Article 8861, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Contractor License Law, or a rule, or order of the commissioner or commission relating to the Act, proceedings may be instituted to impose administrative sanctions and/or recommend administrative penalties in accordance with the Act or Texas Civil Statutes, Article 9100 and Chapter 60 of this title (relating to the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation).
