If a person violates Texas Revised Civil Statutes Annotated, Article 5221a-8 (Vernon 1997), or a rule, or order of the Commissioner or Commission relating to the Act, proceedings may be instituted to impose administrative sanctions and/or recommend administrative penalties in accordance with the Act, or the Texas Occupations Code, Chapter 51 (Vernon 1999), and 16 Texas Administrative Code, Chapter 60 (1999) of this title (relating to the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation).
