Not later than January 14, 2010 the county chair shall file with the Secretary of State a complete list of candidates, including the name of the candidate, the office sought, and the amount of the filing fee paid (or a notation that the candidate filed a petition in lieu of a filing fee). (Note: The amount of filing fees paid must equal the amount reported on the Final Cost Report. If any additions or deletions are made to the list of candidates, after being filed with the Secretary of State, a supplemental list of candidates must be filed with the Secretary of State, the county clerk and the state chair.) If the List of Candidates and Filing Fees are not timely filed with the Secretary of State, it may cause a delay and/or errors in the processing of your 2010 Primary Election Final Cost Report and/or the receipt of your 75% 2010 Primary Election Cost Estimate.
