An application for registration or renewal of registration must be accompanied by a fee of:

1. (1) five hundred dollars for an initial application for registration;
2. (2) five hundred dollars for registration based on a certificate of registration issued by another state;
3. (3) three hundred dollars for an application for renewal of registration; or
4. (4) three hundred dollars for renewal of registration based on a renewal of registration in another state.
