(B) No person shall knowingly do any of the following without holding a current, valid license to practice nursing as an advanced practice registered nurse issued under this chapter:

1. (1) Engage in the practice of nursing as an advanced practice registered nurse;
2. (2) Represent the person as being an advanced practice registered nurse;
3. (3) Use the title "advanced practice registered nurse," the initials "A.P.R.N.," or any other title implying that the person is an advanced practice registered nurse, for a fee, salary, or other consideration, or as a volunteer.

(E) No person shall use the titles or initials "graduate nurse," "G.N.," "professional nurse," "P.N.," "graduate practical nurse," "G.P.N.," "practical nurse," "P.N.," "trained nurse," "T.N.," or any other statement, title, or initials that would imply or represent to the public that the person is authorized to practice nursing in this state, except as follows:

1. (1) A person licensed under this chapter to practice nursing as a registered nurse may use that title and the initials "R.N.";
2. (2) A person licensed under this chapter to practice nursing as a licensed practical nurse may use that title and the initials "L.P.N.";
3. (3) A person licensed under this chapter to practice nursing as an advanced practice registered nurse and designated as a certified registered nurse anesthetist may use that title or the initials "A.P.R.N.-C.R.N.A.";
4. (4) A person licensed under this chapter to practice nursing as an advanced practice registered nurse and designated as a clinical nurse specialist may use that title or the initials "A.P.R.N.-C.N.S.";
5. (5) A person licensed under this chapter to practice nursing as an advanced practice registered nurse and designated as a certified nurse-midwife may use that title or the initials "A.P.R.N.-C.N.M.";
6. (6) A person licensed under this chapter to practice nursing as an advanced practice registered nurse and designated as a certified nurse practitioner may use that title or the initials "A.P.R.N.-C.N.P.";
7. (7) A person licensed under this chapter to practice nursing as an advanced practice registered nurse may use the title "advanced practice registered nurse" or the initials "A.P.R.N."
