PURPOSE: The pwpose of this rule is to comply with section 196.876, RSMo (1986) and to identify each container of ice emm mix OT related frozen food product mix with the manufacturer’s name, address and date of paste&a. tion.

1. (1) Identification of All Mix Containers.

   1. (A) An identification tag shall be attached by the manufacturer to each container of ice cream mix and to each container of related frozen food products mix, except where the necessary information can be printed or embossed on the container. The tag or con. tainer shall show manufacturer’s name and address with date of pasteurization. No mix shall be transferred by any person, firm, association or corporation to another container for the purpose of holding or storing as such.

2. (B) No person, firm, association or corporation shall remove such identification or receive or have in his or its possession any container of mix covered by the Act which aye not properly identified. Auth: section 196.861, RSMo (1986). Original rule filed Dec. 4, 1964, effectiue Dec. 14,1964.
