PURPOSE: This rule describes how to place the permit number on the machine.

1. (1) A permittee shall place in a conspicuous location on both sides on each well drilling 10 CSR 23-1

machine or pump installation machine the words MO PERMIT and the permit number in figures not less than three inches high and one and one-half inches wide (3" × 1 1/2"). The number shall be in a contrasting color to the background. This change is not required until new equipment is purchased, operator changes equipment or the rig is painted. If new permit numbers are issued, they must be placed on the drilling or pump installation machine within six (6) months.
