PURPOSE: This rule describes how a party may obtain oral argument or an evidentiary hearing on a motion.
The commission may rule upon any motion filed with it, including a motion for summary determination, on the basis of the record before it and without oral argument. The commission shall hear oral argument or evidence only upon a party’s written motion and for good cause shown or upon the commission’s own motion.
