Maintenance and Abandonment of Wells

  1. (a) The owner of any well shall maintain it in accordance with the rules and regulations of the Department.

  2. (b) On abandoning any existing well or test hole, the well owner shall:

    1. (1) Notify the Department; and
    2. (2) Effectively seal and fill the well or test hole in accordance with the rules and regulations of the Department.
