In each state fiscal year beginning after June 30, 2027, a local unit that receives a distribution under section 2(k) of this chapter may not apply for a grant under section 2(h) of this chapter in an amount that is greater than the maximum grant amount set under section 8 of this chapter minus the amount the local unit received from a distribution under section 2(k) of this chapter.
