Ind. Code § 23-2-6-9

"Commodity merchant" defined

As added by P.L.177-1991, SEC.10.

As used in this chapter, "commodity merchant" means any of the following (as defined or described in the Commodity Exchange Act or in a CFTC rule):

  1. (1) A futures commission merchant.
  2. (2) A commodity pool operator.
  3. (3) A commodity trading advisor.
  4. (4) An introducing broker.
  5. (5) A leverage transaction merchant.
  6. (6) A person associated with a person described in subdivisions
  7. (1) through (5).
  8. (7) A floor broker.
  9. (8) Any other person, other than a futures association, that is required to register with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission.
