1. (b) This chapter does not apply to a hospital operated by the federal government.

2. (c) This chapter does not affect a statute pertaining to the placement and adoption of children.

Sec. 1. (a) Except as provided in subsection (b), this chapter applies to all hospitals, ambulatory outpatient surgical centers, abortion clinics, and birthing centers.
