When used in this chapter, unless the context otherwise requires:

1. 1. “Auditor” means the county auditor or the auditor’s designee.
2. 2. “Department” means the department of health and human services.
3. 3. “Director” means the director of health and human services.
4. 4. “Intellectual disability” means the same as defined in section 4.1.
5. 5. “Mental health and disability services region” means a mental health and disability services region formed in accordance with section 225C.56.
6. 6. “Regional administrator” means the regional administrator of a mental health and disability services region, as defined in section 225C.55.
7. 7. “State resource centers” or “resource centers” means the Glenwood state resource center and the Woodward state resource center.
8. 8. “Superintendents” means the superintendents of the state resource centers.
