Rule 672-8-.03. Policy

In carrying out the purposes of this Chapter: (a) Emphasis shall be placed on encouraging recycling of scrap and junk where practicable. (b) Every effort shall be made to screen nonconforming junkyards which are to continue as on-going businesses. (c) Nonconforming junkyards are to be relocated only as a last resort. (d) The provisions of this chapter shall be carried out in relationship to such resources as are available to the Department. Cite as Ga. Comp. R. & Regs. R. 672-8-.03
