5202 DIAGNOSTIC/ASSESSMENT
5202.1 Diagnostic/assessment services shall:
- (a) Consist of an assessment, which is at least three (3) hours in duration;
- (b) Be rendered once every six months, unless an additional billable unit of service has been authorized by DMH;
- (c) Be provided in a DMH-certified community mental health rehabilitation services agency, the client's home or other community setting or a residential facility consisting of sixteen (16) beds or less; and
- (d) Meet all other requirements set forth in 22 DCMR § 3415.
5202.2 Diagnostic/assessment services shall not be billed on the same day as assertive community treatment.
