Sampling shall be taken at random and in the amounts as follows:

Defect tolerances by count:

500 lbs. or less

501 lbs. to 5 tons

over 5 tons

Defect tolerances:

less than 500 lbs.

25 lbs.

500 lbs. to 2000 lbs.

100 lbs.

over 2000 lbs

200 lbs.

plus 100 lbs. for each additional 2000 lbs. or fraction thereof

Adequate space and equipment for sampling and inspection for the enforcing officer shall be provided by the owner or person in possession.
