1. (a) A tolerance of 10 percent, by count, shall be allowed for doubles with both halves well developed, uniform in size, and mature.
2. (b) A tolerance of 2 ½ percent, by count, shall be allowed for doubles which have one portion that is not well developed.
3. (c) Any amount of doubles shall be allowed if the container in which they are placed or packed is clearly and conspicuously marked with the words “Exceeds tolerance for doubles.”

Cherries shall be free from doubles except as follows:
