Section 1. Personal Qualities. The physical therapists and physical therapy assistant possess those characteristics necessary for optimal performance in his/her profession. These characteristics include: (1) the knowledge and skill to apply the principles of quality physical therapy care; (2) the motivation to broaden his/her professional knowledge relating to physical therapy practice; (3) the physical attributes required for the performance in his/her position; (4) the emotional stability to exercise consistently sound judgement; and (5) the awareness of the needs of his/her fellows and commitment to those needs.
Section 2. Ethical Conduct for Physical Therapists. The physical therapist shall subscribe to and shall maintain high ethical standards of practice and performance as delineated in the Code of Ethics and the Guide for Professional conduct as adapted in 1981 by the American Physical Therapy Association while he/she is a practitioner of physical therapy in the State of Wyoming.
Section 3. Ethical Conduct for Physical Therapy Assistants. The physical therapy assistant shall subscribe to and shall maintain high ethical standards of practice and performance as delineated in the Code of Ethics and the Guide for Professional Conduct as adapted in 1982 by the American Physical Therapy Association while he/she is a practitioner of physical therapy in the State of Wyoming.
