Section 1. Authority. The following rules and regulations have been adopted by the wyoming Livestock Board pursuant to the authority vested in it as authorized in Section 11-263, 11-280, and 11-282, Wyoming Statutes 1957.
Section 2. Reporting. All cases of suspected hog cholera must be reported immediately by telephone to the office of the State Veterinarian.
Section 3. Quarantine of Infected Premises. Premises on which all suspicious cases and all confirmed cases of hog cholera exist shall be immediately quarantined and all swine present restricted to that premise.
Section 4. Cleaning and Disinfecting. All premises, troughs, buildings, yards, utensils, other equipment and vehicles which have been exposed to hog cholera infected swine shall be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected under the supervision of a full-time state or federal veterinarian following removal of hog cholera infected swine.
Section 5. Cooperation with Animal Health Division. All cases of hog cholera will be handled in concurrence and cooperation with the National Hog Cholera Eradication Program of the Animal Health Division, Agricultural Research Service, U. S. Department of Agriculture.
