Section 1. Authority. These regulations are promulgated by authority of W.S. 23-1-302 and 23-2-104.
Section 2. Hunting Seasons Established. There will be open seasons during 1994 for the hunting of elk as set forth in this Chapter and in accordance with Chapter 2, General Big Game Hunting Regulations.

Section 4. Special Archery Seasons. Areas listed below have special archery hunting seasons during the dates and with limitations shown.
Archers with general licenses may hunt in areas open to the holders of general licenses. During the special archery seasons, archers with general licenses must hunt for the type of animal specified for general licenses on the earliest opening date for the hunt area shown in Section 3 of this Chapter except as specified differently below. Archers with limited quota licenses may hunt only in areas and for the type of animal specified by the limitations for their license type in Section 3 of this Chapter.

(a) An area one-quarter mile wide along either side of U.S. Highway 26-89-191 shall be closed to all elk hunting.
(b) An area within one-half mile of any building shall be closed to elk hunting.
(c) Only the following portion of Area 75,76 will be open to hunting for Area 75 permits: Beginning at the confluence of Ditch Creek and the Snake River proper; northerly along the easternmost bank of the main channel of the Snake River to the northernmost channel of Spread Creek; easterly along said creek to U.S. Highway 26-89-191; southwesterly along said highway or below the crest of the river terrance immediately west of this highway to Ditch Creek; westerly along said creek to the Snake River.
