Section 1. Authority. Section 23-1-302, 23-2-304 and 23-6-111, Wyoming Statutes.
Section 2. Regulation and Effective Date. The Wyoming Game and Fish Commission hereby adopts the following regulations governing Fur Dealers. These regulations shall remain in effect until modified or rescinded by Commission action.
Section 3. Definitions. All terms used herein are referred to and adopted from definitions contained in Sections 23-1-101, 23-1-102 and 23-1-103, Wyoming Statutes.
Section 4. Application for License. Persons desiring to operate as a Fur Dealer shall make application on a form provided by the Wyoming Game and Fish Department and submit said application and proper fee to a Game Warden in the area where the Fur Dealer's principal office will be located. In the case of nonresident Fur Dealers, application and fee is to be submitted to the Chief Game Warden at Cheyenne.
Section 5. General Operation. A licensed Fur Dealer may have employed persons who buy and sell hides and furs for the Fur Dealer provided said persons can immediately show proof they are employees of the licensed Fur Dealer and also can show a copy of the Fur Dealer's license.
Section 6. Records and Reports. Each Fur Dealer shall maintain current written records on forms provided by the Wyoming Game and Fish Department of all hides and furs purchased, sold or transferred from within or without the State of Wyoming. Said records shall include names and addresses of persons from whom hides and furs were purchased, sold or transferred, including the date of the transaction, tag numbers attached to furs, and trappers license number. The records shall include all transactions under the authority of the Fur Dealer by employees, and said records shall be kept at the Fur Dealer's place of business. One copy of the records maintained shall be submitted to the Game Warden in the area where the principal office of the Fur Dealer is located. Nonresident Fur Dealers shall submit a copy of their records to the Chief Game Warden at Cheyenne. Said copies of records shall be submitted by January 15 following the calendar year for which a license has been issued.
Section 7. Penalty Section. Failure to conform with Section 5 and 6 of this Chapter shall be just cause for revocation of a Fur Dealers license by the Commission.
