Section 1. Authority. Chapter 249, Section 23-1-23, Session Laws of Wyoming, 1973.
Section 2. Regulation and Effective Date. The Wyoming Game and Fish Commission hereby adopts the following
regulations governing game tag agents. These regulations shall become effective on July 1, 1974 and shall remain in effect until modified or rescinded by Commission action.
Section 3. Issuance of Tags. No person properly designated to sell metal Wyoming game tags or Wyoming interstate game tags shall do so without first completing a proper Wyoming game tag or Wyoming interstate game tag affidavit form in triplicate. Said affidavit forms to be furnished by the Wyoming Game and Fish Department to the selling agents. Any designated agent who so desires may incorporate the game tag affidavit form on his own business invoice. In such cases, the affidavit form must be approved by the Wyoming Game and Fish Commission or its' agent and all provisions of this section must be complied with.
The original copy of the affidavit form shall accompany the shipment of any game animal, game bird, game fish or parts thereof, except that a taxidermist licensed in Wyoming may tag and ship game specimens of a nonedible nature, that were taken outside of the State of Wyoming, by listing all tag numbers and complete information documenting origin of said specimen on a Wyoming taxidermist report form.
The affidavit form shall be deemed null and void unless it is properly filled out and signed by the applicant and the issuing agent at the time of issuance of the tag. In the event that any affidavit cannot be properly filled out, or any imported game specimen is received by a taxidermist without proper documentation, prior approval of the nearest game warden shall be secured in writing prior to the issuance of any Wyoming game tag or Wyoming interstate game tag.
All Wyoming game tags or Wyoming interstate game tags issued to agents shall be accounted for by the duplicate copy of the affidavit form, taxidermist's reports of imported specimens or by the return of unused tags at the expiration of the calendar year.
Section 4. Oath of Office. All agents for Wyoming game tags and their employees who will issue game tags, shall be required to execute an Oath of Office.
Section 5. Complying with Regulation. Failure to comply with any provision of Section 3 shall constitute a violation of orders of the Wyoming Game and Fish Commission.
