Section 1. General Considerations. Every well 5h811 be located with due consideration to the contour of the land, porosity and absorbency of the soil, distances to sources of potential pollution, local ground water conditions, and the uses of the water from the well, Every well shall be protected against surface wash and flooding.
Section 2. Relation to Sources of Pollution.
a. Every well shall be located the minimum lateral distance from any of the common sources of pollution listed below:

b, Although no specific minimum distances have been established from other possible sources of contamination, such as streams, refuse disposal sites, excavations, waste treatment facilities, buried oil and gasoline storage tanks, or improperly constructed wells and cisterps, their potential hazards should not be ignored,
Section 3. Relation to Building.
a. When a well is adjacent to a building, it shall be so located as to be accessible for such attention as may be necessary. The well shall be located so that the center line, extended vertically, will clear any projection from the building by not less than 3 feet, and will clear any power line by not less than 10 feet,
b, When a well is to be located inside a building, the top of the casing and any other well opening shall not terminate in the basement of the building, or in any pit or space that is below natural ground surface unless the well is completed with a properly protected submersible pump,
Section 4. Relation to Property Lines. Every well shall be located at least 10 feet from any property line,
