Section 1. Statement of Purpose. The Wyoming State Board of Chiropractic Examiners Rules and Regulations are set forth and promulgated for the purpose of interpreting and implementing W.S. 33-10-101 et seq., establishing the Board and conferring upon it the responsibility for licensing chiropractors and regulating the practice of chiropractic in the State.
Section 2. Citation. The Wyoming State Board of Chiropractic Examiners Rules and Regulations shall be known, and may be cited as, the Board of Chiropractic Examiners Rules.
Section 3. Severability. If any provisions of these rules or the application thereof to any licensee or circumstance is invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or application of these rules which can be given effect without the invalid provision or application, and to this end the provisions of these rules are declared to be severable.
Section 4. Terms Defined by Statute. Terms defined in W.S. 33-10-101 et seq. shall have the same meanings when used in these regulations unless the context or subject matter clearly requires a different interpretation.
(i) "IMS" means intramuscular stimulation. (j) "Official custodian" means the Executive Director of the Wyoming State Board of Chiropractic Examiners. (k) "PACE" means Providers of Approved Continuing Education. (l) "Preceptor" means Wyoming licensed chiropractor. (m) "NBCE" means the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners. (n) "NCCAOM" means National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. (o) "SPEC" means Special Purposes Examination for Chiropractic. (p) "State" means the State of Wyoming.
