Section 1. Authority. Pursuant to the authority vested In the Commissioner of Agriculture by virtue of Sections 40-82 - 4092, Wyoming Statutes 1957, the following regulations pertaining to Specifications, Tolerances and Testing Procedures for Weighing Devices, are hereby promulgated and adopted.
Section 2. Systems of Weights & Measures. The specifications, tolerances and other technical requirements for commercial weighing and measuring devices, together with amendments thereto as adopted by the National Conference on Weights and Measures, and published in National Bureau of Standards Handbook 44 and supplements thereto, or in any publication revising or superseding Handbook 44, shall be the specifications, tolerances and other technical requirements for commercial weighing and measuring devices in the State of Wyoming.
Section 3. Specifications, Tolerances and Other Technical Requirements. Specifications, tolerances and other technical requirements as set forth in the National Bureau of Standards Handbook 44, 3rd Edition, 1965, will govern the following categories:
a. General code.
b. Scales.
c. Weights.
d. Liquid-measuring devices.
e. Vehicle-tank meters.
f. Liquefied petroleum gas liquid-measuring devices.
g. Liquid Measures.
h. Vehicle-tanks used as measures.
i. Farm milk tanks.
j. Measure containers.
k. Milk bottles.
l. Lubricating-oil bottles. m. Graduates. n. Linear measures. o. Fabric-measuring devices. p. Cordage-measuring devices. q. Taximeters. r. Odometers. s. Dry measures. t. Berry baskets and boxes.
