Dealers shall keep true and accurate records of transactions, including both sales and purchase records, in a format prescribed by the director. Records must be maintained for a period of three years.

1. (1) Purchase records shall include:

   1. (a) Dealer's name;
   2. (b) Dealer's registration number;
   3. (c) Dealer's address;
   4. (d) Grower/seller name;
   5. (e) Grower/seller registration number;
   6. (f) Ginseng weight in pounds and ounces;
   7. (g) Designation of green or dry ginseng;
   8. (h) Designation of wild or cultivated ginseng;
   9. (i) Harvest year of ginseng;
   10. (j) County in which the ginseng was harvested;
   11. (k) Date of transaction;

2. (2) Sales records shall include the following information:

   1. (a) Dealer's name;
   2. (b) Dealer's registration number;
   3. (c) Dealer's address;
   4. (d) Buyer's name;
   5. (e) Buyer's registration number;
   6. (f) Ginseng weight in pounds and ounces;
   7. (g) Designation of green or dry ginseng;
   8. (h) Designation of wild or cultivated ginseng;
   9. (i) Harvest year;
   10. (j) County in which the ginseng was harvested;
   11. (k) Date of transaction.
