   1. (a) An individual commits a class A misdemeanor by violating:

      1. (i) Section 58-55-503;
      2. (ii) Section 58-55-504;
      3. (iii) Subsections 58-55-601(1) through (7), (9), (10), and (12), (14)(e), or (21) through (24); or
      4. (iv) failing to comply with a citation issued under this chapter.
   2. (b) An individual who violates Subsection 58-55-601(8) may not receive or accept a contract to perform work or act as a qualifier.

2. (2)

   1. (a) An individual commits an infraction by violating Subsection 58-55-601(13).
   2. (b) An individual commits theft under Section 76-6-404 if the individual violates Subsection 58-55-601(13) and intends to deprive the payee of money owed.
