Utah Code Ann. § 15A-3-201 – General provision.

(1) The amendments in this part are adopted as amendments to the IRC to be applicable statewide.
(2) The statewide amendments to the following which may be applied to detached one- and two-family dwellings and multiple single-family dwellings shall be applicable to the corresponding provisions of the IRC:
1. (a) IBC under Part 1, Statewide Amendments to International Building Code;
2. (b) IPC under Part 3, Statewide Amendments to International Plumbing Code;
3. (c) IMC under Part 4, Statewide Amendments to International Mechanical Code;
4. (d) IFGC under Part 5, Statewide Amendments to International Fuel Gas Code;
5. (e) NEC under Part 6, Statewide Amendments to National Electrical Code; and
6. (f) IECC under Part 7, Statewide Amendments to International Energy Conservation Code.
